Please you are kindly requested to read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the Ade Medic Vill mobile app or website (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Ade Medic Vill App or Platforms.
1.1 WHO WE ARE: Ade Medic Vill (“Medic Vill”, “we”, “us”) is a technology platform registered in Uganda.
1.2 WHAT WE DO: We connect clients with independent, verified healthcare vendors and licensed Pharmacies, clinics, drug shops, Hospitals and medical equipment distributors etc. We are NOT a clinic, hospital, or pharmacy. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1.3 ROLE: Ade Medic Vill is a marketplace, where Vendors are independent contractors, not our employees. Your contract for healthcare services is directly with the vendor you book but not with Ade Medic Vill as an entity.
You must be 18+ and a resident of Uganda to use the Ade Medic Vill App. Parents/guardians MUST always make sure they book for minors.
Vendors must hold a valid Respective Medical regulatory body license.
One person, one account. Creating fake or duplicate accounts violates these Terms.
3.1 ACCURACY: You agree to provide true, current info and update it when it changes.
3.2 SECURITY: Keep your password/OTP safe. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at support@ademedicvill.com if it's compromised.
3.3 VERIFICATION: We may verify your National ID and phone number. Vendors must submit license docs for Respective Medical regulatory body licenses, business registration particulars and licenses for checks.
4.1 CLIENT RULES: Follow the Client Community Guidelines. Be present for bookings, pay in cash on delivery, and don't misuse SOS/Emergency features.
4.2 VENDOR RULES: Follow the Vendor Code of Conduct. Practice within your scope, show your Ade Medic Vill ID, and collect payment only after service.
4.3 PROHIBITED USE: You must NOT:
5.1 Booking: When you confirm a booking, you make an offer to the vendor. The contract is formed when the vendor accepts to deliver.
5.2 In Kind on Delivery: All payments are made directly between client and vendor in cash after service or upon delivery. Ade Medic Vill does NOT process payments or hold escrow.
5.3 Pricing: Prices are set by vendors. Transport fees may apply. The final amount shown in-app before confirmation is what you pay.
5.4 Cancellations: Clients may cancel free up to 20 minutes before service. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a penalty fee on your next booking. Vendors who cancel repeatedly will be suspended.
5.5 Prescriptions: You must upload a valid prescription for only prescription medicines. Vendors may refuse orders with fake or expired prescriptions.
6.1 Ade Medic Vill may charge vendors a service fee per completed booking or a monthly subscription.
6.2 Clients do not pay Ade Medic Vill directly. We may introduce booking fees in future and will notify you 30 days in advance.
7.1 No Medical Advice: Content on Ade Medic Vill is for info only. Always seek advice from a qualified professional for diagnosis.
7.2 Emergencies: Ade Medic Vill is NOT an emergency vendor. In a life-threatening situation, call 999 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
7.3 No Guarantee: We do not guarantee vendor availability, service quality, or clinical outcomes. We verify licenses but we do not supervise medical practice.
8.1 Our IP: The app, logo, and content belong to Ade Medic Vill. Don't copy or use them without permission.
8.2 Your Content: You own photos, reviews, and messages you post. By posting, you give us a license to display them to operate the Platform. Don't post illegal or infringing content.
Your use of Ade Medic Vill is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect health data only with your consent and share it only with your chosen vendor.
10.1 By You: Delete your account anytime in Settings > Privacy.
10.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, the law, or our Trust & Safety Policy. This includes non-payment, fake licenses, abuse, or repeated no-shows.
10.3 Effect: On termination, your access ends. Provisions on liability, disputes, and legal retention survive.
11.1 "As Is": The Platform is provided "as is". We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by Uganda law.
11.2 Liability Cap: To the maximum extent allowed, Ade Medic Vill is not liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to UGX 100,000 or fees you paid us in the last 6 months, whichever is less.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Ade Medic Vill if your breach of these Terms causes us loss or legal claims.
12.1 Informal Resolution: Contact support@ademedicvill.com first. We'll try to resolve it in 14 days.
12.2 Law & Venue: These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Courts in Kampala have exclusive jurisdiction.
12.3 Small Claims: For disputes under UGX 10,000,000, either party may use the Small Claims Procedures in Uganda.
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we'll notify you in-app 14 days before they take effect. Continued use shall be taken or considered as acceptance.
