Kamara Daniel is a Clinical and Community Nutritionist, MOH & at Bwindi Community Hospital, Uganda, passionate about transforming lives through evidence-based nutrition education, community outreach and health advocacy. Recognised as the Outstanding Nutritionist of the Year 2025 under the Ministry of Health Heroes in Health Awards, he is committed to advancing nutrition practice and addressing malnutrition and nutrition-related non-communicable diseases. His work spans clinical nutrition, community nutrition, research, media health communication and professional education. Through #NutritionistKD and the #NutritionCommandCentre, Kamara promotes practical, culturally relevant healthy-eating messages, empowering individuals, families and communities to make informed food choices. His guiding message: “Food Is Your Medicine.”
